Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper, 1977: " John J. Grellner, 90, of Rich Fountain, died Friday night, March 25, (1977) at St. Mary's Health Center where he had been a patient for one week. Mr. Grellner was born Jan. 30, 1887, at Rich Fountain, the son of George and Anna Fick Grellner. He was never married. Survivors include a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Sunday at Sacred heart Catholic Church, Rich Fountain, where he was a member. Rev. Robert Arnold officiated. Burial was in the parish cemetery."
