Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper - 1973 : "Miss Karen Catherine Dudenhoeffer, 19, of 913 W. McCarty St., died Tuesday ( January 16, 1973) at a Jefferson City hospital following an illness of two weeks. A native of Jefferson City, Miss Dudenhoeffer was born Jan. 18, 1953, the daughter of Charles and Pauline Schmitz Dudenhoeffer, who survive. Miss Dudenhoeffer attended St. Peter's elementary school and was a member of the graduating class of 1971 at Helias High School. In 1972, she graduated from the Wallace Doty Beauty College. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic church where funeral services will be conducted Friday. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Other survivors include: four brothers, Charles Dudenhoeffer, 401 Riverview Dr.,; David Dudenhoeffer, 310 Mulberry St.; Richard Dudenhoeffer, Rushville and Frederick Dudenhoeffer, 913 W. McCarty St. Miss Dudenhoeffer was employed by a local beauty salon. The rosary will be recited Thursday at the Dulle Funeral Home."
