Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper, 1975: "Allie Wayne Helton, 40, of Vienna, died Sunday at the U. of Missouri Medical Center, Columbia. A native of the Argyle community, Mr. Helton was born march 19, 1934, the son of George and Liley Jonson Helton. On June 26, 1953, at Vienna he was married to the former Miss Margaret Chadd, who survives. Other survivors include: 3 sons, Michael, Stephen and Terry Helton, of the home. Two daughters, Miss Alice Helton and Miss Linda Helton, both of the home. Two brothers, Eizie Helton, Meta; and Earl Helton, Valley Park; five sisters, Mrs. Belva Holliday and Mrs. Pauline Goans, both of Holts Summit; Mrs. Minnie Renn, Jefferson City; Mrs. Emma Woods, Hartsburg; and Mrs. Lola Webb of Valley Park; and one grandchild. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna, with the Rev. Donald DeClue officiating. Burial was in the Stokes Cemetery near Meta."
