Mrs. Graessle was born April 21, 1906, the daughter of Sebald and Mary A. Dulle Kohlman. She was married in St. Louis January 10, 1928, to Oscar J. Graessle, who survives at the home. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, the Daughters of Isabella No. 322 and the Altar Society. Other survivors include: One daughter, Mrs. Judy Connors, 2509 W. Main Street and four grandchildren. The rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Dulle Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at St. Peter's Catholic Church, with the Rev. John Buchanan officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

    3. Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper: Anna B. Groner, Folk Native Dies, February 27, 1978 Miss Anna B. Groner, Jefferson City, died Monday, February 27 at a hospital there following an illness of about three weeks. A native of the Folk Community, Miss Groner was born in 1894, a daughter of Stephen and Regina Veltrop Groner. She was never married. Miss Groner was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Jefferson City, and St. Ann's Sodality. She served as a housekeeper for her brother, the Rev. Msgr. Bernard Groner, until her retirement. Other survivors include three nephews, Richard Groner, Bernard Groner, and Rev. John Groner, all of Jefferson City and one niece, Mrs. Regina Schepers, St. Louis. Services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Home with the Rev. Anthony Bruzas, officiating. Burial was in the St. Anthony Cemetery, Folk, Missouri.

    3. Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper: Raymond Groff, of Belle, Dies March 11, 1971 Raymond Groff, 73, of Belle, died Thursday, March 11 at a Jefferson City hospital. Mr. Groff was born August 2, 1897 in Osage County, the son of Jesse and Elizabeth Roberts Groff. He married the former Miss Amanda Elizabeth Goodman, at St. Louis, April 13, 1920. She survives. Other survivors include: One son, Herbert V. Groff, Baldwin; one brother, Robert Groff, Jennings, and three grandchildren. Mr. Groff was a deacon of the Pilot Knob Baptist Church, an adult class Sunday School teacher, and a board member of the church. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 373, A.M. & F.M., Belle. Masonic service was held at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Jones Funeral Home, Belle. Funeral services were held at the Pilot Knob Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Sunday with Rev. Snodgrass officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Greichen, Jr.; and a daughter, Mrs. Ray (Velma) Hicks of Jefferson City; 3 grandchildren; a brother, William Linhardt of Route 1, Linn; and a sister, Mrs. Emil Heidbrink also of Linn route. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, February 23, at 2 p.m. at the Pilgrim Lutheran Church at Freedom with Rev. H. F. Leischeidt officiating. Obit., 1967 - mid-Missouri newspaper: Chester Gail Dies in Hospital Chester Murphy Gail, who had lived on Route 1, Linn, for the past seven years, died Monday July 24, 1967 at the Jefferson Barracks Hospital where he had been for the past 6 weeks. He had been ill since January 1, 1967 when he suffered a stroke at his home. Mr. Gail was born at Washington, Missouri on December 13, 1899, the son of Frank and Lu Ella Murphy Gail. On November 12, 1948 he was married to Laura Hengstenberg at Piggott, Arkansas. She survives. Other survivors include two brothers and one sister: Clarence and Forrest Gail, and Mrs. Ethel Rice, all of St. Louis. He was preceded in death by a brother, Sydney Gail. Mr. Gail was a veteran of World War I and II, having served in the Navy for 30 years, retiring as Navy Chief Petty Officer. He was a member of Fleet Reserve Association; and the International Union of Electrical and Machine Workers, AFL-CI0 1102. Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 26 at 3 p.m. at the Gottenstroeter Funeral Home at Owensvile with Rev. Arthur Schneider officiating. Burial was in the Owensville City Cemetery.

Mr. Gentges was mowing a fence row along a creek when the tractor he was driving struck a large concrete block causing the tractor to overturn. Gentges was killed instantly. Mr. Gentges was born October 15, 1904 at Frankenstein, son of Henry and Elizabeth Kremer Gentges. On October 8, 1928 he was married to the former Miss Rosemary Jaegers. She survives. Also surviving are: Three sons, Richard P. Gentges, Loose Creek; James E. Gentges, Bonnots Mill; Thomas R. Gentges, U. S. Navy, Vietnam. Loose Creek Resident Dies of Heart Attack on 10 April 1966 Joseph Herman Grefrath, one of Loose Creek's best known citizens died suddenly early Easter Sunday morning at his home in Loose Creek, the victim of a heart attack. He had been in failing health for some time, however his sudden passing came as a distinct shock to everyone. He was born at Loose Creek on June 13, 1890, the son of Gustave Grefrath and his wife Sophia Schetzler Grefrath, and at the time of his passing he was 75 years, 9 months and 27 days of age. On October 15, 1915 he was united in marriage to Miss Theresa Kremer, who survives him together with 3 daughters and six sons. They are: Rita (Mrs. John Kliethermes) Ames, Iowa, Bernice (Mrs. August Nilges), and Mary (Mrs. Joe Haslag), both of Loose Creek. The sons are Bernard, Loose Creek, Edmund Grefrath, Boulder, Colorado, Raymond, Joe, Herbert and Norbert Grefrath all of Loose Creek. There are 2 sisters, Mrs. Louis Kremer of Loose Creek and Mrs. Dena Dampf of Jefferson City. These together with 34 Grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren are the immediate surviving relatives. Mr. Grefrath was a life long member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Loose Creek, where he attended the parish schools. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of that parish. Mr. Grefrath was the custodian of the Immaculate Conception Church and Schools at Loose Creek for many years until his health began to fail some time ago. He and Mrs. Grefrath had just finished their breakfast Sunday morning and he had gotten up from the table to go into the kitchen when the fatal attack struck him and he died almost instantly. The Rosary was recited at the Morton Chapel in Linn Monday and Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. and the Requiem funeral Mass was conducted at the Immaculate Conception Church in Loose Creek Wednesday morning at 9:30 o'clock with a Priest from the LaSalette Seminary officiating. Interment was in the Parish Cemetery at Loose Creek. The Pallbearers who served were: Eddie Grefrath, Raymond Haslag, August Nilges Jr., Edmund Reinsch, Danny Grefrath and Robert Ortmeyer. Mrs. Boillot grew up and received her education at Chamois and except for several years that she lived in South Dakota and the state of Wisconsin, she lived her entire life at Chamois. Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. Mabel Carroll of Chamois and one brother, James Day of Independence. Mrs. Burchard was born Aug. 12, 1898, at Frankenstein, the son of George and Mary Williams Burchard. On Jan. 13, 1957, he was married at Jefferson City to the former Miss May Surface, who survives at the home. Mr. Burchard was a life-long member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of latter Day Saints in Jefferson City, and a 50 year member of the Linn Masonic Lodge. he was a farmer and stock raiser most of his life.     3. Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper, 1974: "Mrs. Mary Jane Bonney, 36, St. Louis, died Monday April 29, 1974 at the Lutheran Hospital in St. Louis. She was born Nov. 25, 11937 in Jefferson City, the daughter of William and Johanna Wieberg Patten. Her mother survives in Freeburg. She was married to William F. Bonney, who survives at the home. She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church, Freeburg. Other survivors include: one son, Shawn Bonney of the home; three daughters - Miss Maria Bonney, Miss Jackie Bonney, Miss Glenna Bonney, all of the home. Three brothers, Raymond Patten and Alvin Patten, both of Vienna; and Donald Patten of Westphalia; three sisters - Miss Beatrice Patten, Westphalia; Mrs. Helen Weed, Meta; and Mrs. Arlene Mateny, Freeburg. Funeral services were held Thursday at the Holy Family Catholic Church, Freeburg with the Rev. Norman Ahrens officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery."
