Mr. Grellner was born Jan. 30, 1887, at Rich Fountain, the son of George and Anna Fick Grellner. He was never married. Survivors include a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Sunday at Sacred heart Catholic Church, Rich Fountain, where he was a member. Rev. Robert Arnold officiated. Burial was in the parish cemetery."

He was born Nov. 13, 1900, at Bonnots Mill, the son of Rodney and Jeannie LeCure Groves. On Feb. 19, 1919, he was married to Flora Ida Kemple, who survives at the home. He has worked for the Mo. Pacific Railroad for 25 years before retiring in 1965. He had lived in Frankenstein prior to moving to Jefferson City. Other survivors include: one son, Howard J. Groves, Rt. 3, Jefferson City; three daughters, Mrs. Laverne Vogel, LaPorte, Ind.; Mrs. Esther Kliethermes and Mrs. Anna Mae Sullins, both of Jefferson City. Two sisters, Mrs. Lora Taber, St. Louis; and Mrs. Bertha Stubblefield, Jefferson City; 13 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday at Buscher Memorial Home with Rev. L. Dale officiating. Burial was in Linn Memorial Park with Mortons Service in charge."

Mr. Gelven was born January 1, 1891, near Linn, the son of Peter and Elizabeth Plassmeyer Gelven. He was married Dec. 8, 1919 at Jefferson City to Miss Mary Lucindia Robinson, who survives. He was manager of the Gasconade Power & Light for many years. He also helped with the work of the REA in the area by getting farmers to sign for the program when the coop was started. Mr. Gelven was an overseas veteran of World War I. Other survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Ray McCleary, Linn; one sister, Mrs. George Mitchell, Arkansas City, Kans.; two grandchildren , Robert McCleary and Mrs. Rhonda Phillips, both of Linn, and two great grandchildren. Services were held Sunday at the Morton Chapel in Linn, with the Rev. Leo Hellmann officiating. Burial was in Linn Cemetery."

Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper; 1972: Mrs. Gerling Dies at Age 83 " Mrs. Theresia Margaret Gerling, 83, of Jefferson City, died Sunday, April 16, (1972) at St. Mary Hospital after a long illness. She was born Aug. 11, 1888, at St. Thomas, the daughter of Bernard and Elizabeth Loethen Schmidt. She was married Nov. 9, 1910 at St. Thomas to Louis Gerling, who died in 1953. Mrs. Gerling attended St. Thomas schools and had made her home in St. Thomas before moving to Jefferson City in 1953. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic church, the St. Thomas Catholic Church Altar Society and LaSalette Auxiliary. She had been employed at the LaSalette Seminary for several years before here retirement. Survivors include a son, Michael B. Gerling and a daughter, Mrs. Cletus Kramer, both of Jefferson City and eight grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday at St. Peter's Catholic Church with the Rev. Norman J. Ahrens officiating. Interment was in the parish cemetery, St. Thomas."

Woman is Deat at 98 Mrs. Wilhelmina Daube Succumbed to Hemorrhage Sunday Night Mrs. Wilhelmina Daube, 98 year old resident of Loose Creek died at her home there this morning from a cerrebreal(sic) hemorrhage suffered Sunday night. Mr. Dearixon had been a representative for Moorman Feed Co., for 13 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Linn and a member of the board of trustees of that church. Mr. Day spent most of his adult life in the U. S. Army, retiring about two years ago with over twenty years service. Dessieux, one of Osage County's most respected citizens, who died at his home in Linn Sunday morning, June 11, 1967. Mr. Dessieux was born June 27, 1889, at Springfield, Missouri, son of Thomas J. and Virginia Vaughan Dessieux. On February 21, 1920, he was married to the former Miss Leora Ferguson of Linn. She survives. Other survivors include three daughters, Mary Ruth, Mrs. Vernon Morton, Linn; Eula, Mrs. William R. Clark, and Virginia, Mrs. Earl David Scott, Jefferson City; one son, Paul Russell Dessieux, Potosi; one brother, Everett Dessieux, Jefferson City; and one sister, Mrs. Edna Moss, Springfield. One son, Clifford Dessieux preceded him in death in 1956. Judge Dessieux was educated in the grade and high schools of Linn. He was graduated from Park College, Parkville, Mo.; Lyons University, Lyons, France and Denver University Law School, Denver, Colorado. Mr. Dessieux was a lawyer and farmer. He served as Judge of the Probate Court of Osage County from 1928 to January 1, 1939. He was elected to the House of Representatives from Osage County in 1938 and served one term. He served one term in the New Mexico legislature in 1925. During World War I he spent 13 months overseas with the 138th F. H. , 35th Division. He was president of two insurance companies, the People's Mutual Insurance Association of Linn and the Oklahoma Life Insurance Company of Muskogee, Oklahoma. Mr. Dessieux was active in all community and county affairs. He served several terms as mayor of Linn; he was president of the Linn School Board and haled make the Linn Technical Junior College a reality; he was active in service and veterans groups, a member of the Linn Lions Club, Eagle Barracks Post, American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was appeals officer for the Selective Service in Osage County. He was a member of the St. John's Methodist Church in Linn, and was very active in all the affairs of the church, having served as president of the church board for several years. he was a member of all Masonic bodies, both York and Scottish rites, having served as Master of the Linn Masonic Lodge No. 326 A. P. & A. M."

McCarty St., died Tuesday ( January 16, 1973) at a Jefferson City hospital following an illness of two weeks. A native of Jefferson City, Miss Dudenhoeffer was born Jan. 18, 1953, the daughter of Charles and Pauline Schmitz Dudenhoeffer, who survive. Miss Dudenhoeffer attended St. Peter's elementary school and was a member of the graduating class of 1971 at Helias High School. In 1972, she graduated from the Wallace Doty Beauty College. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic church where funeral services will be conducted Friday. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Other survivors include: four brothers, Charles Dudenhoeffer, 401 Riverview Dr.,; David Dudenhoeffer, 310 Mulberry St.; Richard Dudenhoeffer, Rushville and Frederick Dudenhoeffer, 913 W. McCarty St. Miss Dudenhoeffer was employed by a local beauty salon. The rosary will be recited Thursday at the Dulle Funeral Home."
