This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: TAYLOR, JUSTICE Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/CMB.2ACE/596.2 Message Board Post: I tried to send this to you privately, but your email bounced: Lisa, When you said that you are connected to Dolores LARSEN, I know exactly which line you are from. You are a double cousin to me, as she is... She, if I'm not mistaken, is from Thomas 'Tommy' TAYLOR and Mary "Pop" JUSTICE line... Tommy was a brother to my gggrandfather, Jesse Madison TAYLOR, and Pop was a sister to Jesse's wife, Elizabeth "Betsy" JUSTICE... Not only are you close to the TAYLOR ancestors, but at Myrtle as well as at Walnut Grove, AR [5 miles from Myrtle], there are JUSTICE ancestors. In fact, Pop's and Betsy's parents are buried at Walnut Grove Cem., and I have pics of their stones as well. I, along with the bunch at the Taylor reunion, bought the stone for their dad, John Dyer JUSTICE. I know now which book to send you, but I need your current info, or at least where you know you come in at... go to: www.lanitasloft.com and you will see pics of when we dedicated the Conf. stone for my Jesse. At the same time, we dedicated the Confed. stone for Tommy. They were both in the Fristoe's Regiment for the Confederacy during the Civil War. The unit fought as guerillas, hiding in the bushes and taking the enemy out... Let me see what I can find on your line, and will get back to you. Love, Lanita I trace my family history so I will know who to blame.
