Maxwell's children on the 1880 census in Jobe Twp in Oregon County, MO. They lived in the same neighborhood as my John M. Dickey great grandfather. That must be how my great grandparents met. Josephine C. Gaines was probley living with her brother John and all her other siblings until she married John M. Dickey in 1875. The Gaines children and John M.
