Any help would be greatly appreciated! My grandfather was the Minister of the Pentacostal Church in Thayer, Oregon Co., MO. for several years. He was Jesse Lawrence ABBEY. He moved to Thayer in 1927. He left Thayer sometime in the late 1930's. Sorry that I cannot tell you where the church was located in Thayer. He had other various jobs to pay the bills, but he was the Pentacostal Minister in Thayer. They also owned and operated a service station and grocery store combined, in Thayer, at some point in time.
