Some of their daughters were there, I think.  I remember hearing the girls sing." Now, I was under the impression that John and Cora LEWIS [my mom's uncle and aunt] were ASSEMBLY OF GOD ministers. So, maybe they use the term "Pentacostal" as being a generic description rather than an denomination, this time. I have asked Mom if the church was IN Thayer and what the name of it was... will get back to you when she answers. Hope this helps, Lanita

My Dad was raised Pentacostal and that was in the Nazerine Church (Spl?). Assembly of God are of the Pentacostal belief. Lots of Pentacostal churches that go by different names. Pat Miller
