I have the picture of a young woman with her Sunday School class sitting on the front steps of a church in Thayer. Maybe somebody could tell me who this would be. On the back of the picture is written: "Sunday School class-This is only half of them. The rest stayed at home because of the rainy weather. When are you coming to Thayer? signed Jessie R.:written to Mrs. Maggie Shurron, Koshkonong, MO". If anyone could help me with this I'd really appreciate it. The class is of from toddlers up to probably four. I suspect this is really Julie Riley, my grandmother and the person who transcribed it couldn't read it very well. I don't know what the Nazarene churches taught in those days but as I know them today they are not the teachings of a Pentecostal Church.
