Surnames: DABBS/GOODWIN Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/CMB.2ACE/583 Message Board Post: If anyone has access to the 1880-1900 Mortality records for Oregon Co. would you PLEASE look-up the death of Mahala Dabbs Goodwin B. 1830 Lewis Co. Tn. married Thomas Michael Goodwin in 1847 Lewis Co. Tn. (Her death date is around Sept. 1898, due to land records.) They moved to Oregon Co. in the mid 1870's. And from another ancestor, she states that Mahala is buried in the New Salem Cem. without a marker. Is there any records to verify this? Also, if there are newspapers around that era that may her obituary, I would so GRATEFUL for any help!
