    3. Norma, The records in Lawrence Co., AR belong in Lawrence Co. Lawrence Co. was the mother county for many of the counties in the area, including Oregon. Orebon Co. did not become a county until 1845 [split off from Ripley]. Lawrence Co., AR is the hub of the wheel. The rest of the counties around that area, are the spokes of the wheel. Not a dumb question at all! Lanita
