I thought some of you might be interested in it since you are researching STUBBLEFIELD. Bonnie Mrs. Kate Parks Passes At Home of Sister Mrs. Kate Parks, a registered nurse and sister of Mrs. W. J. Stubblefield, of this place, died at the home of her sister Sunday morning at one o'clock. Mrs. Parks was a native of Paris, Texas, and came to Fayetteville about four months ago and has been confined to her bed since that time. The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at two o'clock, at the residence of her sister, conducted by Elder R. A. Largen Elder C. C. McQuiddy and Rev. B. G. Pressley. Burial was held at Rose Hill Cemetery. She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Stubblefield, Mrs. Ida Smith of Paris, Texas, and Mrs. Ruby Graves of Oklahoma City, Okla.; one brother, Chas. B. Whitten of Hugo Okla. She was the daughter of Judge W. F. Whitten and Mrs. Mary Crinshaw Whitten, who died several years ago at Paris, Texas. Published in The Lincoln County News, 8/10/1939
