He recieved a land patent on Oct 1, 1835 for 40 acres in Daviess/Knox counties Indiana. Then on 15 Oct 1835 he receives another land patent for another 40 acres in Daviess/Knox Counties Indiana. He married (second wife)Sarah "Sally" Alcorn in 1840 Randolph County AR. Then moved his family to Oregon CO Missouri by 1850. He recevied another land patent for 80 acres in 1859 for Oregon County Missouri.
