Hi listers, I have come across some photos of "Grandma Otten". We are not sure who she is or what relation she is, if any, to our family. All I know is that the pictures were taken of her and my grandfather's sisters in West Plains, MO around 1946. I don't think she lived near us because we remember she "came in for the wedding" at this time. She was in her 60s in the pictures. We also have a ton of photos that she sent to us of herself and her husband and sister quite often. Noted on the photos was "My house on Laverne Street". I need help identifying her picture. We think it might be a family that took my great-grandmother in when her Mother died and her father couldn't afford to take care of her. My ggrandmother's name was Nova Peters, born in West Plains, MO. If this is the case, then the Otten family stayed around for a long time, long enough to see Nova's kids grow up in the 30s-40s. To note, we don't have any pictures of her with Nova, only with Nova's kids. I hope to have the pictures posted to a website soon, but I'm currently away from home and on dial up :-| In the meantime if you think you may know this family, please email me and I will send pictures of them.
