Seed Tick Cemetery is listed in the1996 Edition of the "Cemeteries of Oregon County Missouri"... if you will look under PLEASANT HILL (Seed Tick), it is on page 163. Hope this helps! Lanita I think my family tree is a few branches short of full bloom.

Randolph County, Arkansas does border to the south (eastern half of the southern border), as well as Fulton (western half of southern border) and a little of Shap County between the two. In Missouri, Oregon is bordered by Howell on the West, Shannon to the North, Ripley to the East, and in the Northeast corner is Carter County touches Oregon County. That is a good question Ginger. The search does search his whole site, which can be helpful with the Civil War pages and such as well. Does anyone know anything about a DUNKIN family that was listed on the 1900 Oregon County, Highland township, census? First name is Elijah, wife is Dora Dunkin, son Albin and daughter Beatrix. I am trying to find out if Elijah is still married to Dora on a 1910 census. Heritagequest is not recognizing Dunkin as their last name, perhaps because it is hard to read; although the preliminary ancestry.com results list them as "Dunkin"; The son Albin stays around this area later on. And Elijah owned his property in 1900. So I would think they would still be around in 1910. Another long shot, maybe there is an Elijah Dunkin buried in Oregon County somewhere? (I couldn't find that either). Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks Ginger Ginger Smith <[email protected]> wrote: I am looking for death or burial information for Dora and Elizabeth Peters. Ok, so it looks as if there are about 4 different "publications" available for Oregon County Cemeteries: 1. Ed Groom's Site - http://www.midrivers.com/~egrooms/Cemetery/oregon_county_cemeteries.htm (is constantly updated and includes listings for 2005, however, does not have Seed Tick) 2. A book published by Sue Clark in 1994 that is no longer in print (I saw this in a post somewhere) 3. "Oregon County Cemeteries" by Oregon County Genealogical Society, 1982 (available from Oregon County Genealogical Society) 4. "Cemeteries of Oregon County, Missouri" by Oregon County Genealogical Society, 1996 (available from Oregon County Genealogical Society) Seed Tick cemetery is NOT on Groom's site, however, according to Lanita, it is listed in # 4 above. I hope this helps to clarify. Ginger, I have a copy of the Cemeteries of Oregon County Missouri published by the Oregon Co Genealogical Society and there are only two Peters' grave sites listed in it as well. If I'm not badly mistaken, I believe that Ed Grooms probably used that pub to start his listing and he updates his web site listing when people pass him information. That way, his listing is more current as he has people listed who have passed up through 2005.
