I believe Walter was with the CIA and may still be alive. Walter's brother, John Scott known as Jack Scott was a remarkable man who made tremendous achievements. Jack died in 2000 leaving wife Mikki and children Lydia, Emma and Jonah. Walter and Jack's parents were John and Lydia.Lydia originted from Ireland.     3. I see several John Inman's in the 1870 census, so not sure if one could be yours from this. (I'm looking on Ancestry.) My recommendation is to be creative about the spelling. I have actually gone so far as to search all "John"s in a county to find how my ancestor's last name had been creatively transcribed. Of course to do this, you have to make a guess at what county you think he might be in and be ready to do some fishing.     3. My Oregon Co., MO family research involves the following" REILLEY/RILEY: SC to Kentucky to Arkansas to Missouri ; given names are Thomas, Patrick B.; local names Nancy m. Harmon and has a missing son Albert b. abt 1900. Amanda/Mandy married Crews. Jefferson D married Blankenship. John Clay married Shurron. James married Dills. Minnie married Dills. Retta married (can't remember, but have it). Rufas is missing. Calmore is buried in Oregon Co. Mary married Reeves in Fulton Co., AR. There is evidence there was another sister, but have no info. SHURRON/SHERRON(AN): NC to Tennessee to Missouri (current family is mostly in TN and MS); Shurron married Reilley. No Shurron male descendents survived. Oliver Hardy Shurron was raised by a Putnam family from TN. Cannot find burial place or info on the Putnam family. HODGES: VA to Kentucky to Arkansas to Missouri; Hodges married Reilley in Larue Co., KY. Came to MO in 1891. Died and are buried in Oregon Co. ROACH: IL to Missouri; little info, family was from Illinois. BEARDEN: Tennessee to Illinois to Missouri; two brothers went to Illinois and one married Julia Ann Roach. He died in Illinois. They had at least one son and two daughters. One daughter, Mary Jane married Oliver Hardy Shurron of Oregon Co., MO. My ggrandparents. Cannot find their burial place; I have dates of death as 1909(Nov.) for him and 1910 (Feb)for her. KYLE: Roach/Bearden/Kyle= my gggrandmother b. IL m. in Illinois; widowed in IL; came to Oregon Co and married Kyle: would like to find her burial place; no death information. She was still alive in Oregon Co. on the 1920 census.
