Save this date: October 27th from 1-4 p.m. The Montgomery County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society will conduct a FREE seminar on Saturday, October 27, 2007 from 1-4 p.m. in the Auditorium of the Dayton Metro Library, 215 E. Third Street, Dayton. The topic for the seminar is: "Genealogical Databases: A Research Tool or a Waste of Time and Money" Thousands of new genealogy web pages are added to the Internet on a daily basis. Databases everywhere offer information. Some are free, some are not. How do you decide which databases to use? What techniques can you use to get the most for your money? Our seminar will provide valuable answers to these questions.
