No reservations are necessary. Everyone is welcome! For more information, contact the Warren County Genealogical Society at 513 695 1144 or wcgs@co.warren.oh.us WHEN: Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at 7:30 PM WHERE: Philippi Meeting Room of the Campus Center at the Otterbein-Lebanon Retirement Community, 585 State Route 741, (north of State Route 63), Lebanon, Ohio ABOUT THE PROGRAM: Many of our relatives and ancestors have served their country in one of the branches of the United States Military from before the Revolutionary War up through the present day. Information about the service is maintained in a variety of places and formats. Learning more about that service can sometimes be difficult if you don't know where to look. As a historian for the US Air Force, Rob Young will present information on conducting military research and finding historical material for both your ancestors and the units in which they served. He also serves as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Air Force Reserve where he is a historical officer at Air Force Materiel Command at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. He served as a research historian at the Air Force Historical Research Agency at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama, before he moved to Ohio and has unique insight into how you can best uncover your ancestor's military history. He is the father of five children and four grandchildren and currently lives in Beavercreek.
