I have this information on my ggg-gf's 2nd wife as being committed to the Southern Ohio Lunatic Asylum of Dayton, Montgomery Co., OH. (Source: Court Papers of Miami Co., OH) Is this same as the Dayton State Hospital? Is it still in existence? The Dayton State Hospital was at the corner of Wayne and Wilmington Ave's. It is the large building set back off the road and it is now a large retirement center. It has a lengthy history, including the Civil War days.
