Marie Carr was born in Vinton County, Ohio and to my knowledge, never married. She died on July 13, 1976 in Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. She worked at a couple of small restaurants or diners in or near downtown Dayton. I believe they were on 3rd Street. By any chance, does anyone remember her or would someone be able to search city directories from about 1931 on to see where she lived and worked. She may have lived with her Aunt Clara for a time. Are the only city directories or genealogy department at the downtown Dayton library? Is ther any place to get copies of death certificates for 1976 at a minimal price?
