It was somewhat difficult to view the death certificate information. I posted a note on the 'sister' 'Board' of this mail list about the steps taken to view the d.c.: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.ohio.counties.montgomery/4301/mb.ashx There was a follow-up response about easier access to death certificates (if you are near Columbus, Ohio ;-). See reply to above link. Often the information you seek is found in obituaries, which are much, much easier to obtain. Sometimes one can find a volunteer to search a library record and respond. It seems odd to me, though, often the responses are sent privately, rather than publicly.
