I'll also add my two cents...as with any index that has been transcribed, beware of incorrect information. Fortunately, the images are there to back up the data in the index, but for example, on my uncle's death certificate, his mother's name was Edna Herr which translated to Edna Oxen in the index. Cemetery name was Shiloh which translated to Shuloh. Just a word of warning. Aside from this, it is an excellent resource. It was a good idea to share it with the list because a lot of these new databases get lost in the enormity of the Internet. I am not sure if they are working tomorrow either. So if you don't hear back from them right away you won't be surprised. Also be aware that this is a beta test site and the death certificates are NOT indexed. So it does have some quirks involved in using it. I'm not being ugly here, but want you to understand there are some issues to deal with as you make a mad dash to get in.... -karen Well behaved women rarely make history! -unk ----- Original Message ---- From: "SEPT2702@aol.com" <SEPT2702@aol.com> To: montgomery_co_oh@rootsweb.com Sent: Sunday, December 30, 2007 8:44:40 AM Subject: [MONTGOMERY_CO_OH] Happy New Year Hi List, Here is a late Christmas Gift and to a new beginning for the New Year . Thank you Vicki, I signed up last night, got my password/login information tonight and found and printed a copy of a death/certificate record from the 1950's that has been a bit of a struggle to locate, but another that I know is there didn't show up. Hopefully more information will continue to be added. Enjoy this new resource, and happy hunting in the new year. Connie in Massachusetts ----- Original Message ----- From: "Carolyn J.
