The owner of a sampler, which is posted for sale on eBay, has contacted me regarding the identification of the name stitched on the sampler. It simply states Hannah Mason - 1841, and the owner believes it was stitched under the tutelage of "Ms. Schenck's school in Franklin, Ohio." If you have any information pertaining to a Hannah Mason in the 1841 time frame, please contact Tim Martein at <mailto:timmartien@yahoo.com> timmartien@yahoo.com, phone: 440-247-2035.
