David Rd. president of the Dayton Steel Foundry Co., passed away at the Miami Valley hospital, 12:05 a.m. Monday. He is survived by his wife, Katie N.; 9 sons, George, John, Jacob, David, Daniel, William, Richard, and Frederick of Dayton, and James of Ontario, Canada; 3 daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Dye, Mrs. Gretchen Fensel, and Mrs. Mary Jane Donnelly; 30 grandchildren; 2 brothers, William of Dayton and John of Saco, Maine. He was a member of St. John's Lodge No. 13 F&AM, Scottish Rite, Valley of Dayton; Dayton Rotary Club, Dayton Bicycle Club, Society of Automotive Engineers, The Truck Trailers Manufacturers' Ass'n. Funeral services 2 p.m. Wednesday from the First Lutheran Church, Rev. William C. Zinumann officiating. Burial in David cemetery. Friends may call at Whitmer Bros. Funeral Home, 239 N.
