There are many Ready and Shea families from County Kerry ... I have been looking there for nearly a year now without any luck. Maybe I've been looking in the wrong place. Your information could be an important clue. I've quickly searched a couple websites for records of Mary Ready and Thomas Ready in County Mayo, but again, no luck. It may be necessary to contact a researcher in Ireland. I've saved a copy of the 1860 Census record with the Ready family (spelled Rady by the census recorder) and can email it to you if you'd like. Just reply with your email address. The father is not shown with the family at this time (possibly died young) but this Mary born in 1841 has a brother named Thomas, so I'm sure it's the right family.
