She married John Ryan, also an Irish immigrant, and had at least 4 children, all born in Dayton: Julia Ryan (b. 1870) John V. Ryan (b. 1872) Kathryn Mary Ryan (my grandmother, b. 1875) Infant Ryan (b. and d. 1871) Mary Ready's husband John Ryan was a Dayton city marshal, who died in 1878 of wounds received five years earlier.
