Nancy loved her "Little Women" and was a faithful cheerleader for all her grandchildren. She also enjoyed vacationing with family and friends at her favorite beach. She had a passion for teaching and was employed with the Kettering City Schools for 35 years. She is preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Nellie Doll. She is survived by her husband of 50 years Joseph Farren of Kettering; daughters and sons-in -law Beth and Chet Anderson of Kettering, Amy and Bob Karl of Beavercreek, Meg and Dave Roalef of Kettering, Jonell and Matt Haupt of Kettering; sister and brother-in-law Ginny and Koste Vlahos of Florida; brother and sister-in-law Bill and Sue Doll of Beavercreek; 13 grandchildren, Joe, Sarah, Caitlin, Nathan, Colleen, Jon, Abbey, Bekah, Jacob, Noah, Maggie, Addie and Emma. She was a lifelong member of the Greenmont Oak Park Community Church and the Pathfinders for the last 40 years. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at the Greenmont Oak Park Community Church, 1921 Woodman Dr. Rev. Gregory King officiating. Interment Beavertown Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 5-8 PM Tuesday and also from 1-2 PM Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Greenmont Oak Park Community Church Memorial Fund or to Trinity Community in her memory.
