Howe, 93 of Kettering, formerly of Oakwood, died Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was a 1933 graduate of Julienne High School. Mary was a longtime, active member of Holy Angels Parish, where she sang in the adult choir for over 40 years. She was an active volunteer in the community. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, J. Fred Howe; three brothers, Robert Moosbrugger, L. Eugene Moosbrugger, and James V. Moosbrugger; one sister, Miriam Sword; and her parents, Louis and Mary Helen Moosbrugger. She is survived by five daughters, Rosane Howe-Hogan, Judith M. Howe-Carpenter, Mary Joanne (Marc) Howe Vachon, Patricia E. Howe, Diane L. Howe; 11 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Paul H. (Helen) Moosbrugger of Dayton, and Richard C. (Frannie) Moosbrugger of Englewood, and many other relatives. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, Feb. 15 at Holy Angels Church.
