She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell in 1981, and by her son, Daryl Gillespie in 2003. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Herrman of Midland, TX; five grandchildren and six Great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter; and many other relatives. Louise was born January 6, 1914, the daughter of Sam and Effie Powers in Scranton, KY. She was employed at the Rike's department store downtown for 23 years and attended East Park Church of God. Funeral services was held Saturday, Feb. 16 at the Tobias Funeral Home - Belmont Chapel. Interment in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
