Lauderback, 89, died Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at her 10 Wilmington Place residence. She was born August 6, 1918 in Dayton. She was a long-time resident of Kettering. Mrs. Lauderback had been an active member of the Belmont United Methodist Church throughout her married life, having joined the previously-named Belmont Evangelical United Brethren Church by profession of faith nearly 77 years ago. Until 2002 she had been continuously active with the Otterbein Retirement Home community having provided over 5000 hours of Christian service to residents over a 27 year period. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Virgil; and her brother Carl Denlinger. She is survived by her four children, Sanford K. (Carolyn) Lauderback of Kettering, Marsha G. Zimmermann (Larry Johnson) of Mystic, Ct, Stephen K. (Karin) Lauderback of Bedford, Ind., and Darrell B. Lauderback of Kettering; also survived by a sister-in-law, D. June Washburn of Kettering, 10 grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. Memorial Services pending. Interment of cremains will take place at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
