Copp, 85, of the Greenbriar Nursing Center in Eaton, died Thursday, January 31, 2008. Phyllis was member of the 1940 Graduating Class at Roosevelt High School, and a 50 year member of the Sigma Phi Gamma Sorority, Beta Omega Chapter. She is survived by her son, Howard (Anita Fogle) Ledford of Kettering; brothers John C. Heeter of Tipp City, and Richard M. Heeter of Dayton; many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Phyllis was preceded in death by husbands, Hubert Ledford and Edward Copp; her parents, Howard H. and Mary (Neibert) Heeter; and brothers Howard Jr., Donald, Thomas and Eugene Heeter. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Feb. 6, at the Kindred Funeral Home, Englewood. Interment in Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
