Parmley, 89, of Kettering, died Wednesday, February 6, 2008. Phil retired from WPAFB as an aeronautical engineer after 34 years of service. He was the founder of St. Vincent De Paul at Emmanuel Church. Phil served as president of St. Vincent De Paul Conference at Emmanuel Church for 20 years and he served as a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. He was preceded in death by his wife, Penny, and brother, Dick. Phil is survived by his sons, Jerry (Judy) of Philadelphia, PA and Tom (Judy) of Dayton; brother Jim of Pittsburg, PA.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday, Feb. 11, at Emmanuel Catholic Church. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
