The new web site, http://familysearchlabs.org, where we can obtain copies of Ohio death certificates for 1908-1953 still has some glitches. In a couple cases, I have found an individual listed in the Ohio Death Index at http://ohsweb.ohiohistory.org/death, but did not find the death certificate on the Family Search web site. It might be a good idea to check other resources if you don't find what you are looking for at http://familysearchlabs.org. Another backup source would be the Ohio Deaths Database (1908-1932, 1938-1944, 1958-2002) at Ancestry.com, but this requires a fee. However, you can at least see a list of names and death years, even if you do not have a subscription.
