A group of us are researching all the HARTRUM families as part of a One-Name Study. There were many HARTRUMs in Ohio, especially in Montgomery, Preble and Franklin counties. We are currently using DNA testing to prove that the family tree as we have it is correct, and to connect (or otherwise) individuals where conventional records are insufficient. To this end we also need to know the parents of *living" individuals.
