Victor was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Marie Thieman. Victor was also preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary (Sommer) Thieman and all of his brothers and sisters. Leonard Thieman, Walter Thieman, Alvina Thieman, Louetta Franzer and Elsie Thieman. Victor is survived by children Joyce Ann Thieman (Earl) Ross, of Cincinnati, Pamela Marie (Gene) Pease of Chapel Hill, NC and Sharon Rose (Brian) Sill of Kettering; four grandchildren. Victor was a 1931 graduate of Minster High School and also attended Miami Jacobs Jr. College, Sinclair College and the University of Dayton. He was a WWII Veteran who proudly served in the US Navy from 1941-1945 as a Chief Yeoman. Victor retired from Nationwide Insurance as a District Sales Manager after 38 years of loyal service. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, Feb. 9, at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to U.S. Naval Academy Foundation, 291 Wood Road , Annapolis , MD 21402. Please indicate "In memory of Victor Thieman"and that it is for an "Honor Chair" in the memo portion of the check. Include a note indicating that the acknowledgement of the donation should be sent to Sharon Sill 717 E. Stroop Rd.
