Ferguson, 94, of Kettering, died February 15, 2008. Carl was born November 10, 1913 in Greene County, the son of Ralph and Edna Ferguson. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Grace; daughter Connie. He is survived by his children, Carolyn Neville of Batavia and Keith (Vicki) Ferguson of Centerville; and children and great-grandchildren, and many other relatives. Following graduation from Cedarville College (1935) he spent over 40 years as a teacher in the Waynesville, Newton and Kettering school systems, a principal at Newton High School and coach. He was a talented carpenter and woodworker and spent many hours lovingly transforming raw lumber into works of art. A long-time member of Prince of Peace Church of the Brethren (Kettering), he was known to be a strong supporter of the church's annual talent auction benefiting Heifer International with the donation of his handiworks. A Memorial Service was held Monday, Feb. 18 at Prince of Peace Church of the Brethren, Kettering. Burial at Miami Valley Memorial Gardens, Centerville.
