Curtin, 84 of Dayton, died Tuesday morning February 12, 2008. He was born October 25, 1923 in Bellbrook, the son of Russell and Lona (Dafler) Curtin. He was a US Navy Veteran of WW II serving as an Aviation Machinist's mate in Oklahoma, Michigan and California; Mr. Curtin retired as a toolmaker from the Toolcraft Corporation in Dayton. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son James Curtin in 2003; brother Ray Curtin; and son-in-law Ken Davis. He is survived by wife of 63 years, Beatrice E. (Leland) Curtin; daughter Diana Davis of Kettering; son Michael (Susan) Curtin of Walled Lake, MI; brother Dale (Irene) Curtin of Bellbrook; 14 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren: nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services were held Sunday, February 17, 2008 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens, West Alexandria.
