John Henry and Elizabeth (Gebhart) Pressler of Montgomery County, Ohio were my great great grandparents. In 2003, I contacted a woman in Indiana who knew Mary Presslor Swope Carmichael. She contacted Mary's nephew's wife, Marka (Mrs. David Presslor) in Rockville, Indiana. She said that there were just a few notes of this and that, but that was all. Mary died in a nursing home in 2000. I am interested in what information you received that belonged to your grandmother, Laverne Presslor Cunningham. Mary had written to my parents in Ohio in the years before she died, still working on her research. I was very disappointed that she never published her book.
