I now have a new lead that I need help with. An uncle of mine stated that the badge may have come from the old Workhouse in Dayton, Ohio. He said it was a minimum security prison which would lead me to believe that was the origins of the badge. No one seems to have seen a badge like it before, so I'm hoping the Workhouse angle is correct. If you have any information on the Workhouse, photos that may show guards, etc. or know where I might find this information, please let me know. Thank you!
