Hi Guys, I had a few people on the list write and ask me about my website for my Dayton family. Yep, I accidentally deleted the entire thing, and I'm working hard at getting it all back up. I do think that it's coming back stronger and better than before and it includes more pictures. Funny, I was thinking of all the ways I could improve it and then when cleaning out some old accounts on homestead, I must have accidentally deleted my Rowe, Barney, Stevens site. If you all just hang with me I hope to have it back up within a few months. For now, if anyone wishes to see my project and where I am now, it's at http://lindatrent.homestead.com/index.html There is also a picture of Frederick Schantz (who immigrated to Dayton from Germany) and his wife Barbara Olt Schantz. I've also started a section entitled Treasures from My Aunt's Basement, which includes a bit of what I've found along with some pictures and/or scans of the original items. There is also a page dedicated to the Phoenix Light Artillery, of the Ohio National Guard. This company was based out of Dayton and was called out to stop several uprisings. The one I have the most about is the Wheeling Creek Coal Riots of 1894 that the Dayton group was called out to. I have two letters from my great grandfather from there, as well as pictures of the regiment while there, and bunches more. If anyone wishes to make copies, please do. I can't guarantee that I'll never accidentally delete it again, though I'm going to make a CD myself, just to make sure I have a back up. Thanks, Linda Trent lindatrent@zoomnet.net
