Well, I just visit the Bearcreek Cemetery to take more photos, but I am sorry to say that the older part of the cemetery has deteriorated so much since I last was there a couple years ago. Many more older stones are knocked down and just about all the older stones are now unreadable. The acid rain and elements are really playing havoc on these stones. I haven’t look at the photos yet, but I am sure you can’t make out most of them. What a shame. That cemetery has a lot of the early settlers of Montgomery County. Location: Off Rt. 35, out of Drexel.
