I am looking for information on Charles Harter or any of his family in Ky or Ohio . My third great-grandmother was Nancy Annalee Harter, born somewhere in Ky. in 1819. At two years old, her parents brought her to Dayton (1821). Her father, Charles, was a blacksmith and they lived for many years in Newcom Tavern. Nancy had a sister, Catherine (Kitty). On Sept. 3, 1836, Nancy Annalee married Charles Stuck, in Montgomery Co., Ohio. They lived at Greencastle and had 13 children. Nancy died at 85 in 1904.
