Myers "on the 13th January, 1853, by me David Winters." "Winters" was hard to read so I checked the 1860 census which has David Winters occupation as "Y. R. Clergyman", and the 1870 & 1880 census has him as "preacher". She also sent a copy o the "Record of Deaths, Board of Health, City of Dayton, State of Ohio, A. D. 1876" which lists Susannah Coddington (Phebe's mother) as dying on Feb. 9, and buried in Centerville, Ohio. I went online at www.findagrave.com to add Susannah Coddington to the Centerville Cemetery database and found Sarah Coddington, Phebe's sister, buried there,with the note: dau of P. & S. Coddington, age 31y, 4m, 28d, information from Lindsay Brien's 1939 "Cemetery Records of Montgomery County, Ohio". Peter Clutch is also buried there. He died Feb. 11, 1862. So with this information and the probate information you have supplied, I would definitely say that Peter Coddington was the husband of Susannah. Could you check to see if Phoebe Ann (Coddington) Myers is buried there? I don't know her date of death. The last census I found her in was 1870. She was 45yrs old then. I did not find her in any census after that. Do you have access to the Lindsay Brien Book? Are you near the Centerville Cemetery in Mongomery Co.? Thanks again for all your help, David M.
