I was searching findagrave and can not find a Miamisburg Cemetery. Does this cemetery still active, and no one has transcribed the records yet? or has it been renamed? Around 30 - 35 years ago I lived in Miamisburg in a new housing development. Behind it was a cemetery that was destroyed and people were walking off with headstones. I assume now it is homes. I'd have to get an old city directory to remember the street I lived on, but right behind it was the cemetery. I do know that if you were heading down 725 from Dayton Mall towards Msbg, you passed the shopping center on the left and then turned left at the light just at the end of the shopping center. Then you would go down a ways to where the street ended (think that street is Maue) - then turn right, and then a left turn, then going for a few blocks. The street I was on would have been a right turn off of that road and the cemetery was behind that home. ..... I was mortified with the destruction of it. This is a reply to old posts I've finally got to, but it is place specific so I've cut the original post and changed the subject title. No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG.
