I have just come into possession of several wooden models (5 ea) that were made by Windsor E Brusman. These models are from the 1921 era, so I do not expect him to be still around. Each bears a plaque that reads "Facsimile of Model in National Museum Presented by Windsor E. Brusman Class of 1921 From Plans in Popular Mechanics Magazine. The person I purchased these models from (Kay L. Webster), has a Greene County Public Library email address, so I'm presuming that these models were on display or in storage at the Library. I'm basing that on the inscription as being "Presented", possibly to the library. In a internet search of the Brusman name I did come up with the following obit of William L. Patty, Dayton, OH. William L. Patty, Dayton, OH, died Dec. 28, 2000. He taught school from 1933 to 1940 in the Butler School System and then worked in the aeronautical systems division at Wright Patterson Air Force Base from 1940 until his retirement in 1972. He was a member of United Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, two daughters, four grandchildren and several cousins and their spouses, including H. David '59 and Janet Prugh Brusman '59, William C. '61 and Carolyn Williams Brusman '60, Robert E. Rankin '53 and Harold D. Brusman '80. Preceding him in death were his brother and sister-in-law, John R. '24 and Gladys Covault Patty '25, a sister, Estella Patty Myers '28 and a cousin, WINDSOR E. BRUSMAN '26. Do you have any info on Windsor? While I am waiting for any word you may have on Windsor, I'm going to try to locate the plans from my Popular Mechanics collection.
