He was Superintendent of a railroad. On a later census, Ellen's birthplace given as Ohio. Seeking a possible Roman Catholic Church in Montgomery Co, OH in this time period to find Ellen's baptism records. Patrick and his wife, Honora or Hannah are in Kalamazoo, MI by 1856 and listed in 1860 census in 1860 and 1870. Patrick, Hannah and Maggie or Margaret are all deceased by 1880. Patrick worked for the railroad in Kalamazoo. Maggie married William James Fisher, a railroad engineer, in Kalamazoo. Can someone tell me what railroads were in Montgomery Co, OH at that time and if any of those have an obvious connection with Kalamazoo, MI. Would appreciate any one who might give me a clue as to this family's arrival and stay in Montgomery Co, OH. Would also share information on my Quinlan family with any Quinlan researchers in this county in Ohio. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
