Author: haydenleah Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.ohio.counties.montgomery/4373.6.2/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Steve - I got Williams death certificate...it gives his date of birth as Oct 19, 1865 in DAyton....so JED would have been there then.....lists father as James Ward (bummer) and mother as Martha Espy. The interesting thing is that on his wife's death cert, she died in Portland and was shipped to Great Falls and entombed within a month. This has William as sent to Kalispell, and according to the mausoleum where they both are (supposed full body entmbment in metal caskets) he was not put in until May 8, 1940. Yuck! 1. [MONTGOMERY_CO_OH] Surnames/Downey/reunion/1940-1972
    2. Following are surnames mentioned in the minutes of the Henrietta (Badgley) Downey reunions from 1940-1972 in the Dayton, Ohio area. I am going in the next week to copy the pages and put a file in the Greene Co, Greene Room under Downey. Ask the librarian where they are keeping it as I don't know if it will go in the family papers file or on the shelves. This is my family and there are only a few mistakes that I could see and those are in friend's names who attended the reunions and I didn't included them in the following list. Remember some of these are in-laws, first and/or second spouses. The only Clark Co. OH name that I recognized was Clarence Carpenter who lived in Springfield. The rest are Greene, Montgomery and the Heath extended family in Preble. Linda Swaney Sabin Surnames: Alexander Anderson Badgley Bell Bowersock Butzer Carpenter Cavin Cornelius Cox Deeter Downey Eldridge Erisman Elkins Gaines Gard Heath Kutz Loy Leslie McCoy Milby Miller Moffit Paul Powers Prine Pegay Penick Rausch Real Reber Rice Rombola Sabin Savage Schultz Sharp Strats Stewart Swaney Taylor Wilson ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
