He was married to a woman named Nora and they lived on Terrylynn Ave for a long time.. I was a child the last time I saw him. I know he is buried in Calvary Cemetery, Section 31, lot 131, grave number 4NE, in Dayton (I got that off the web) and I would love to have a copy of his obit and a photo of his gravestone for my records. I'm trying to fill in my mother's history for her (and myself.) The one thing I can remember about G-Uncle Carl were the quarters he used to pull out of our ears when we were kids. Larry was an associate professor of economics at the University of Dayton, having served as department chair, academic senator, and active member of several university committees. A noted labor economist specializing in sports economics research, Larry was recently named, vice president of the International Association of Sports Economists, and was an active member of various other professional economics organizations. He is survived by his wife, Linda, son Mark and daughter-in-law Julie, son Eric and daughter-in-law Christine, and daughter Alena. Other survivors include his parents, Wayne and Virginia Hadley, sisters Christine and Karen, brother Ronald, as well as several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at the University of Dayton Immaculate Conception Chapel on Friday, June 15. She was a former member of the Lathrem Senior Adult Center and enjoyed many years of square dancing, playing cards, family genealogy and traveling to Italy, Canada and Argentina, where she visited many descendants of her Spadaccini and Pompo families. She was preceded in death by seven siblings; husband Howard T. Glover in 1977 and daughter Frances Lee Seppala of St. Paul, MN in 1997. She is survived by daughter, Margaret "Peggy" Mauter of Florida; son, Howard M. Glover of Georgia; a grandson and six granddaughters; eight great-grandchildren; and brother James Pompo of Fraser, MI. She is also survived by many other relatives. Funeral services were Tuesday, July 3, at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Kettering. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Chuck Cambria; daughters, Michelle Monhollen of South Charleston, Lisa (Steve) Schreck of Oakwood; and son, Jason (Hollie) Cambria of Springboro; eight grandchildren; her mother, Virginia Gibbs-Pratt; sister, Carolyn Gibbs Strausburg and Patty (Tom) Sableski; brothers, Rick (Zita) Gibbs and Robert (Amy) Gibbs; son-in-law, Butch Monhollen and Randall Woodie; step-sisters, Cathy Payne, Mary Ann Shultz, Ann Schulte and Susan Pratt; and other relatives. Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, June 30, 2007 at the Church of the Incarnation. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Ron is survived by his wife, Jacquie Hittle; his three sons, Steven (Mary Lou) Hittle, Michael Hittle and Matthew (Danielle) Hittle; three grandchildren; brothers, Ken, Richard and John; sister, Patricia Brumleve and numerous nieces and nephews. Ron was devoted in his faith through the Church of the Ascension for 38 years and joyously worked as a career counselor at Sinclair Community College for 16 years. He had a generous passion for life, a contagious sense of humor and enjoyed gardening, swimming, and riding his bike. He was also actively involved in a multitude of groups including Christ Renews His Parish, Men's Fellowship, Catholics Come Home Program, St. Francis Men's Group, and Cursillo.
