The funeral notice was from the day before, May 31, 2003, on the same page, B5. Now that you gave me the date of June 1, I went back into the obit service, and looked at the entire listing by date rather than by name, and even that way, SCHWAB didn't come up! Perhaps only certain editions showed it, and it didn't get into the archive. At any rate, if you could check it out for me, I'd really appreciate it. This is starting to drive me crazy!!! Thanks so much for your help. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I found this for you and it is a different date it doesn't contain the actual obit, it only tells you where the obit is located. Schwab, Francis J. "Frank". Dayton Daily News June 1, 2003 pg. B5, If you would like I will be going to the library this week and I can locate the obit for you. I would be glad to help. I had thought I was smart getting a subscription to the ObitsArchive.com from Newsbank (which has otherwise been very helpful), but when I try to get any obits from the Dayton paper, all I find is funeral notices...not very helpful for genealogy! If anyone is a current reader of the Daily News, could you let me know if anything *besides* funeral notices is usually run? I'm hoping to find more than just that. Right now, I'm looking for Francis J. SCHWAB, d May 30, 2003 in Dayton, but the only entry I find is for May 31 funeral notice in the paper. If anyone could let me know if there is more, I'd appreciate the help! btw, this SCWAB and brother Charles M (d May 25, 1999 w same result when I did obit lookup!) are part of our FLOWERS line from Perry Co. OH. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. If you would like to reply to them, please click on the Message Board URL link above and respond on the board.

Good morning List ~ Would someone please check on the name Ella Blanche Cale nee Gildow born 30 January 1902 in Noble Co., Ohio. I need confirmation that she was a patient at Stillwater Sanitarium in the mid-40's and gave birth to a baby girl on October 24, 1945 at St. Anne's Maternity Hospital. I have Ella's death certificate and it's looking more like she was the birthmother of my cousin. Thanks, Pat Petty patpetty@cox.net
